We will get through things now. We will get through what is coming. If sheltering with family feels so new, imagine being a child during the Great War and sheltering as you are while Spanish flu hits home after home. Your neighbors, your friends are impacted. My grandpa said black banners hung on most houses as indications of death. Imagine you are a kid as rationing happened during World War 2, or as nightly you hung what blocked light so possible air based enemies couldn’t see your home location. I asked my sons about 9-11. They said because I was calm, it didn’t impact them the way it frightened so many others.

I see these challenging times as moments to build family connections — who has your back and will be there for you. With a foundation of Jesus loving us, more than ever understanding what His covenant got us –matters. Understanding when we made Him our Lord what that nets us –matters.

As much as this COVID-19 disrupted lives, this will pass and life will resume. All earlier changes following disaster also saw this. We have a loving Father who if we permit it –will position us for good news.

Handling Upcoming Changes?

Abraham experienced a new land of changes. Jesus wandered place to place experiencing changes, new people. We always had what drastically changed things –when you birth a baby, nothing seems the same. When you birth a new business, it can change everything, as Bill Gates shows us.

No matter what comes at us, staying hidden in Jesus has been my safe place, my seating of joy. I have learned to stay calm and look for the path He already planned for me.

Prayer Revival of 1857

The world that is coming– they saw it during 1857– there’s a reason the entire nation had a prayer time daily. 1,000,000 Americans found Jesus. A million rededicated their lives. They were seriously rocked in their lives –to look to God, in every village, community, town and city of America. Change of this magnitude happens when they see all they know being impacted.

This time if we know Who has our back will impact how we deal with this. Even if we don’t have compassionate family like you prayerfully listening–Jesus is enough.

Surmounting the Impossible

I had injuries once doctors gave no hope for. All I had was God. A God of love is even more powerful when everything changes. I lived a miracle for 18 years, surmounting death, and in a world that constantly changed. And my shelter in that was the Lord. My family was overwhelmed. I have lived experiencing that “the Lord taking you up” can be enough. When I got my miracle that netted me life, my parents cried. The Lord brought me a miracle doctors said couldn’t happen, and even doctors marveled. How could anyone have imagined a miracle of this magnitude happening?

What Is Coming?

Jesus is more of a shelter than any changes our nation can face or throw at us. I believe our best days are coming. Even beyond surviving this, I believe we are entering the greatest time where our dreams can come true. As Martin Luther saw –and its documented– at least two people raised from the dead (even in the era of the Black Plague) and the Prayer Revival of 1857 saw their worldwide collapse (by prayer) becoming merely the “Panic of 1857”, miracles can be expected. Miracles are good. We can enjoy surmounting the impossible.

This milestone we are passing through should re-direct our nation to its Godly roots — getting us one step closer to the expanded Awakening where His Glory will be so sweeping and powerful across our nation that it shows as blatant as seeing a fog hovering over land and water. Scotland with its endless numbers of revivals saw LOVE in its borders. The Hebrides, with its 110 years of revivals, saw family altars and LOVE walking its shores. America, your time is coming!  LOVE walks here.
